I am also working on some new package options to be posted soon. I know the economy has got us down a bit, but care of our bodies is important, so I want to make it easier to give ourselves what we deserve.

I have been doing these sessions for almost a year now and I am still surprised at what I gain each time.  In our last session, I was very calm and relaxed, though at the end at had a surge of anger run through me.  Not so pleasant.  However, it became very clear that I needed to confront someone in my life and was able to do so following the session from a very grounded place.  Once I got to see this person face-to-face I spoke my truth and was amazed at how much it actually opened up the space for more understanding between us.  It is the first time I had an experience like this from the bowls and though it had its moments of discomfort, I am very thankful.

I apologize for the last minute reminders; I have been enjoying the last few days before I return back to school this semester that I have gotten a bit off my routines.  There is nothing to pull us back into ourselves like listening to the celestial sounds of the crystal bowls.  I don’t know about you, but I am sure due for a session.

Spending locally is a great way to do this. I have heard that every dollar that you spend at a local business will stay in the community three times longer than money spent at national chains (on average, 80% of money spent at national chains leaves town with the nights deposit – www.tibatampa.org). When spending at local businesses that we love, we know we are supporting our friends as well as the greater community and this is a great feeling.

Looking for stocking stuffers??? I am also selling Tea Grams donated by Kaleisia Tea Lounge, another great local business,  for an amazing community arts project called United Drops Make Waves. This project is actually the Master’s Thesis for a friend of mine in USF’s College of Fine Arts who is working with Community Stepping Stones to create community cohesion and save a park in Sulphur Springs.  You can read more at www.uniteddrops.com.

I once described these sessions as being inside a crystal glass as it is being “played” by someone running their finger around the outside.  It is like I am swallowed by the vibrations…often I experience feelings of extreme calmness and serenity.  Though sometimes, like last month, I felt my mind kept going a mile a minute gently being soothed to slow down.  Even though the mind chatter didn’t leave, I come back into my life renewed and ready to deal with the issues I was facing.
